For many people, whether subconsciously or not, this is still a reason to go through with a purchase. This applies to any product or service, and thus also to your business! But how can you best take advantage of this?
A nice discount in the post season
The post-season is upon us and so we get rain one day and glorious sunshine the next. Nice that variation, but during this period people are less likely to book in advance. So make use of discount codes! For example, put a discount code on your website that is valid until the end of October, or let the customer book during the week at a lower price. Often this is the last push your prospective customer needs.
Reward your customers
Of course, giving away a discount is also the ideal way to reward customers. You like it when they book online in advance, don't you? Reward them for this! For example, give a 5% discount on all online reservations. That way, online reservations increase. And the processing is automatic, so it doesn't cost you any extra time. Customers book just a little faster when they get a discount, really!
