A good week ago we were in a true winter wonderland. People were going out to cross-country ski and ice skate. Everyone was enjoying the white landscape. Super to see how many of you immediately took advantage of this opportunity. We would like to take a moment to reflect on these last minute actions in which our reservation system helped many parties.
The skating rinks in the Netherlands were allowed to open! Great of course, but in this strange corona year a lot of hassle. Time slots, maximum number of participants and then only for members. LeisureKing managed to get several skating rinks online within one day. And as soon as the light was green and the rink could open, the tickets were eagerly purchased. Within half an hour, sometimes more than 1,000 tickets were sold! Very good, and how nice that we were able to play a role in this.
We also put the cross-country skiing activity online for a number of clients. Again, these were last minute actions. Quick to think along, arrange and everything online within a few hours.
