Posted on Monday, July 24, 2023We are Fatih & Tolga from Activi, two enthusiastic young entrepreneurs who have brought together their passion for recreation and the latest technologies to create something extraordinary. Currently, we are the pioneers and the only ones in the Netherlands with a comprehensive platform where direct booking is possible.
How it started
Since our youth, we have always organized large group outings for our friends and family. Moreover, Fatih has also served as an instructor for various outdoor activities. Besides practicing our recreational hobby, we have studied IT together and worked for several large companies. Both in the private and government sectors. We were both active in the staff association, where we were responsible for organizing company outings.It was during this period that the idea for Activi was born. We kept encountering the same obstacles: long waiting times for offers and difficulty in finding the ideal activity in the Netherlands. We realized this could be better and change was needed.
We want to become the largest outings provider in the Netherlands
Five years ago, Activi was born out of our passion for technology as recreation. The only one in the Netherlands this year, we created the ability to integrate various reservation systems into one platform, allowing you to can book in just two steps.Our dream is to offer a wide range of activities so that our customers have plenty of choice and can easily plan a fun day out. Currently we already have more than 200 directly bookable activities and we aim to expand this number further. Our vision is to become the largest provider in the Netherlands, where everyone can easily book a day out!
We also have a user-friendly system specially designed for companies, allowing them to organize corporate events quickly and easily. Our team pays personal attention to each corporate client.
What will it cost you and what can you expect from us?
Our revenue model is primarily focused on corporate clients. For regular activities, we charge a commission fee of 10% including VAT per booking. If you use Activi through LeisureKing then here comes 3.9% including VAT per booking at for API connection (regular transaction fees will be waived). We want to emphasize that we are a "no cure, no pay" company. Moreover, we do not offer contracts. For example, if you want to try Activi for 3 months, that is certainly possible! Our partners are not tied to anything!In return for the commission fee, Activi offers extensive reach and also generates numerous bookings. We also host several events with influencers, which provides broad exposure. Moreover, we run various marketing campaigns, including Google AdWords, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook to achieve even greater reach.
We also visit our current partners to take professional photos and videos. We then use this media for our social channels and to send targeted advertisements to our clients.
What can we do for you?
Regarding our ambition, we aim to offer more than 600 to 1,000 activities in the short term! During the past two months, we have worked relentlessly to accurately post all 200 activities on our platform. For the next two weeks, we are already almost fully booked with video meetings! Fortunately, we have a young and dynamic team that is driven to keep up with and publish all the activities.An extensive marketing campaign is planned in August and September, during which we expect a significant number of bookings. Therefore, we would like to invite all recreational operators to participate in Activi.

Upon receipt, we will send you an affiliate deal from the LeisureKing environment, after which you can specify which activities you want to offer within LeisureKing. As soon as this is completed, we will get started right away!The only thing we are still asking from our partners is to send some photos and videos via WeTransfer that we can use for the activities. For the rest, we are waiting for everything regarding the indicated activities to be ready, after which we will create a partner account and provide feedback.
